Opening the box and seeing this vintage beauty “Miss Revlon” so tired and neglected was the start of an inspiring transformation.

Her delicate natural silk gown had turned into a crumpled, dusty bundle, and her once-glamorous hair was dry and unruly. Because vintage silk requires special respect, simple pressing simply wouldn’t work. I carefully unpicked every single seam, taking the dress completely apart ! Each fabric piece was gently cleansed, smoothed out, and edge-stabilized to prevent fraying before being patiently hand-stitched back together in its original silhouette.

My goal is to work meticulously and preserve as much of her original, authentic charm as possible.

Her hair enjoyed a soothing spa treatment as well, gentle washing, nourishing conditioners to bring back moisture, and a fresh retro styling tucked neatly under a delicate net.

The transformation speaks for itself: from a forgotten treasure in a parcel to a radiant, elegant lady brimming with 1950s grace !
